The Results Are In

I know everyone has been waiting with baited breath for the results from our ultrasound on the babies' genders. Well, I've got 'em right here. Two pictures which clearly, um, expose the kids. Well, sort of. I mean, the ultrasound tech was very confident, but Erin and I examined these pictures and gave them a, "What you talking about, Willis?" kind of look.

In any case, without further ado, drumroll please, the Gold twins will be:

A Girl...and a Boy!

This has definitely been the most commonly hoped for by well-wishers, I guess given that penchant for having children until you have one of each gender. Well, we got that right out of the way.

In case you can read ultrasounds, here are the pictures showing the identification from the ultrasound (can YOU tell what they are?):

Hrm.... the earlier ultrasound showed baby-shaped blobbies. I can't tell a thing about those latest ultrasounds. Guess it is like reading tea leaves or something.

We should know the gender of our blobby in two weeks. Congrats on getting one of each! At least you will have an obvious way to tell them apart.

Yeah, I agree these pictures are muddled at best. They're from the same ultrasound sitting though. Here's the way I look at it: Assuming that what the technician pointed her arrow at is the babies' private parts, then even if she got them wrong, I'm pretty sure that they're different. So, it might be a boy and girl, and it might be a girl and a boy, but the end result is the same..

I believe Ben's response can be summed up by the song "One of these things is not like the other"...
